Nicole is the founding visionary, co-owner and manager of Nova Holistic Spa. She is passionate about helping people live their best life and spreading positivity and harmony through holistic health – mind, body and spirit, in order to be, feel, and radiate total health and harmony, inside and out.  

After a varied and rewarding professional life as a musician (travelling the world as a backing vocalist for Australia’s most successful bands Savage Garden and recording and performing with many other Australian musicians & successfully publishing 3 albums of original material), Nicole decided to formalise her musicianship with a songwriting degree from UTAS. This then led to a masters in music therapy and in holistic counselling. 

Nicole has always led a holistic approach to life and is an empath at heart. And it was during her masters studies that she realised her calling and passion to bring out the best in others. 

Once graduated and in between jobs, Nicole confided with her sister Kylie (a level 2 Australian sports coach, pilates instructor and business professional) her desire to integrate her skills along with her music therapy and counselling studies together and find work as a holistic counsellor. But, sometimes the universe has a way of leading you on a different trajectory and instead Nicole (who also has a background as a day spa manager) and Kylie (a level 2 Australian Sports Coach and pilates instructor) found themselves taking a huge leap of faith to become 1st time owners of a brand new day spa with no clients at all, but a space that suited their vision. 

And just 5 months later a beautiful, tranquil and homely space called Nova Holistic Spa, in central Hobart, was born offering opportunities for local Hobart residents and tourists the opportunity to proactively and holistically optimise their overall health – mind, body and spirit, on a cellular level, with services such as: Hobart’s only Therapeutic Thermal Therapy facility, massages, functional skin health facials, Tasmania’s only mHBOT and Infrared Amethyst BioMat and holistic counselling. 

Nicole is a qualified holistic counsellor, massage therapist, corneotherapist, musician and vocal coach; and along with her day spa management experience and wonderful team of professional therapists on hand, Nicole has created a stunning, tranquil, homely space at Nova, and just one year in it is proving to be a popular wellness haven.

• MMusTher – (in progress) having completed all academic units of her master’s in music-Therapy, with Melbourne University, with only 160 hrs of clinical placement left to graduate. 
• A vast range of life experiences and a sixth sense to tap into feelings and the intricacies of what lies underneath someone’s problem and an excellent ability to communicate with people in a compassionate, warm manner.
